Devi’s Fall
2008 May 19
Devi’s fall is an attractive waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara valley. Water coming from Phewa lake vanishes into the earth at the Devi’s Fall. Locally known as Patale Chhango.
Devi not Deva, a Swiss lady, was swept away when the floodgates were accidently opened. Therefore, this waterfall is named after the lady’s name as a memoir of her.
Thought suppose to be a waterfall, why is there snow mountain? Hee, this is just the entrance.
Can see the water rushing through?
Nothing so special about the waterfall, but it really makes a big difference during Monsoon season. Let’s check this out : http://video.aol.com/video-detail/devis-fall/3533837169
