Phewa Lake & Barahi Temple

It is situated in Pokhara. The total distance is 8km. The water is clean because the Nepalese really take care of it. They neither throw rubbish into it nor cross the river by motor-boat. They row a boat or a canoe. That’s why the lake’s cleanliness is well-maintained. Unlike Malaysia, all the ‘FAMOUSED’ tasik is heavily polluted. Haih!

Barahi Temple is situated on an island at the middle of Phewa Lake. ‘Row, row, row a boat……’ just 5 minutes and you will reach the island. Basically, it is a very small temple with lots of pigeons. Enjoy the scenery.
