Manipal Teaching Hospital

Main referral hospital in Pokhara although it is a private hospital. It is also the only hospital which its emergency department operates on Saturday. So, if you happen to meet an accident on Saturday and you are too poor to pay for it, then you can approach the king of hell to pay for you :D Besides, it is also the only hospital with oncology and neurosurgery department in this area.

A conversation between Dr Asis De (DASD) & TFTD

TFTD : Good morning, dr. I am Tan, an elective student from Malaysia.

DASD : Welcome to Nepal. Sorry for keeping you to wait for so long. I have broken 5 ribs 2 days ago. I suppose to rest at home but I feel it is too boring, so I decided to come to work.

TFTD : Sorry to hear that, dr. How are you now? Getting better.

DASD : Yes. Thanks for the concern.

TFTD : How did it happen? Accident or fell?

DASD : I fell from the stairs in hospital.

TFTD : Oh, maybe the floor is too slippery.

DASD : Not really. I saw a giant cobra when I was walking up with my colleague. My colleague did not notice and was going to step on it. I pulled him away quickly when the cobra was going to attack. Both of us fell and he landed on me……ho ho ho!

TFTD : (swt!!!)……

Very nice. I wouldn’t mind working in a place with a view like that. So peaceful.
